*SEE PREVIOUS POST FOR THE METHOD AND INTRODUCTION* This is part two of my two part post on my first attempt at the Vitamin C hair colour removal method (I will be documenting my other attempts too) and I'm dedicating it to my results.
Firstly I'd just like to say, in my previous post I said something along the lines of "I'm gonna have to do it a couple more times before I get noticeable results" but boy was I wrong. The results on attempt one are very noticable *inserts photos*
This is when I first dyed my hair red (PLEASE NOTE: I'm not a professional hair dresser / dyer / stylist, just a teenager who is too broke to go to the salon every time I want to change my hair colour - I mean £70.00 each time is hella expensive!). It's a mixture of Directions Vermillion Red, Rose Red and Mandarin and Adore Raging Red and a smidgen of Aquamarine and then a tonne of conditioner. Soo yeah...a LOT of dyes *shrugs*.
*******

*Above* is my hair after the last time I washed it normally (shampoo and conditioner) using the anti-dandruff shampoo. It had faded into a pinky-red mix which was okay but this was the lightest it was going to go after washing it a few times.
SIDENOTE: It's always best to fade your hair out as much as possible before using the Vitamin C method just to get better results.
The colour had lifted mostly off of my roots where my natural hair was growing through anyway so I had a strip of blonde then pinky blonde then pinky red going on in my hair. It was a mess and kinda embarrasing.
After doing the Vitamin C method (first attempt) this is the colour my hair went. It is noticably pinker and tbh I'm actually amazed at how well it worked. I really didn't expect it to lift so much colour but idk I guess it did.
Whilst the cap was on I did feel some slight itching around my head but nothing burned nor stinged so I ignored it thinking it would be okay and it was. After I washed it out and this morning
there were no rashes or burn marks (or patches of hair missing - phew!). Before putting the conditioner into my hair it did feel as if there was some dryness to it where I had washed the mixture out so I was a bit concerned but had trust in my ultra fancy conditioner (its not that fancy), which I was right to do because after blow drying it (using a heat protectant - always use a heat protectant when styling or blow drying your hair (it really helps)) my hair felt revitalised, healthy, smooth, soft and not dry at all.

So these were my results from attempt one. Over the next couple of days I will be doing some more washes using the Vitamin C and I will be updating the blog about my results but for now the results from attempt one have really astonished me. I'm really pleased with how this works but now its time to see if it does the same thing next time. Thank you for reading this and remember I am NOT a professional at anything to do with hair. This is simply my opinion and experience.
DISCLAIMER: Results my vary so always take caution when doing something like this and always prepare ahead by watching tutorials and reading reviews/methods!
Thank you
